Star Wars anything..... just not at HS

Headed to Disney World in a couple weeks for only a couple days. Only spending one day at BB, MK and a relax day. My daughter (almost 4) LOVES Star Wars. Is there anywhere OUTSIDE HS that she could get a “mini fix” of Star Wars? I think Disneyland does something on Space Mountain, just wondering if MK did anything. Anything at Disney Springs?

Yes, Disney Springs has a fun Star Wars store with lots of merch and a pressed penny machine that she might like. I believe the LEGO Store there might also have a SW display. Maybe have her wear something Star Wars that day. Leia buns? T-shirt? And there used to be a build-your-own lightsaber area at one of the stores plus lots of Star Wars accessories for Mr Potato Head! I’ve loved Star Wars since I was a little girl too so I can relate. Have fun!

The Star Wars galactic Outpost store at Disney Springs would be about it if you're not going to HS. It's a fairly small store with clothes, few toys, and art work. Not much to entertain a 4yr old though imo

FYI the build your own lightsaber display of the DS store was not open when we were there in April....and I have seen posts from other people noting the same at other times....don't assume it will be there.

Let me guess. You don't have a 4 year old. For starters, the OP is not headed to Disney specifically for Star Wars. Hence the visits t MK and the water park. They simply want something Star Wars related without having to visit HS.

As far as WHY they would want to purchase it at Disney instead of Amazon, I can only speculate, But, maybe it's all part of making it a memorable trip for a 4 year old child. Maybe, just maybe, getting a treasured Star Wars toy while visiting Disney will be more memorable over time than getting the same thing delivered to your front porch in a brown box.

But, hey, maybe I'm just thinking like a 4 year old. If so, I hope it never goes away.

When we were there in Nov. there were giant Vader and Yoda statues outside the Lego Store at DS - not sure if they are still there now. We went to the SW Trading Post there as well at the Marketplace, just merchandise but good stop for her enjoyment. Between this store, Once Upon a Toy, and World of Disney you could make your own scavenger hunt to spot different characters on the clothes, books, toys, etc. to make your visit focus on that, and at the end she could pick something to buy as her prize(you could give her Star Wars themed Disney gift card to use with an amount of your choosing). Also they sell SW themed Mickey Ears, like R2D2, which you could find there or most likely in Emporium or Chapeau at MK - can get her name embroidered on at the Chapeau as well.

DD 14 would love that - she has collected the pennies since our first visit(and at other vacation spots/aquariums/museums etc.) and is a huge SW fan. We were at the Trading Post, but did not have a lot of time, so may have missed it. Or was it at the other store?

This was at the Star Wars store at Disney Springs. And yes, they are SW pressed pennies!
