Star Trek Convention

Checked my Dreams Unlimited itinerary - it's showing a Star Trek weekend 11-13 June. I'm staying at Pop Century - don't know where this Star Trek thing is. Anyone know about these? Does this mean they are all staying in WDW or maybe just Orlando so they could turn up anywhere? Should they be avoided? Do they add to the fun or are they a nuisance? (No offence to any trekkie/trekker) Should I brush up on my Klingon & pack my pointy ears?

I know they are having Star Wars weekends during june at MGM. Did not see anything for Star Trek.

It is actually a Star WARS weekend, which means more people seeking the force and not any pointy ears. The biggest congestion will be at MGM, mostly around the Stars Ride and some other activities through the park. It shouldn't be too noticeable in regards to crowds.

I am as much a Star Trek fanatic as a Disney fanatic! I thought I'd have to change my dates to go to the "Star Trek" convention at WDW!

Holy smokes, I was thinking the same thing. I was about to run to google and check out the dates! I can picture it now...
