I was just informed by our travel agent that when she was talking to disney about our transfers from the airport to WDW they booked us a towncar through Star towncar. We originally told her that we wanted a Tiffany towncar but she forgot and just remembered that we wanted a towncar. Has anyone used this service? Is it any good? Do you know the internet site that they use? HELP!

BUMP!!!

I'm also booked for a transfer from the airport to hotel with Star Towncar. I've never used a towncar service before at all, but was hoping to get some people's opinions before I leave...

TIA, Chrissy:confused:

I was talking to some who told me to checkthe price of the towncar if i booked it thru disney because they charge a lot of money. I am having my travel agent check now. I also wanted a grocery stop. I know Tiffany towncar does this but I am not sure about Star. You are going before I am so if we don't find out before you advise me. I hope all goes well with your trip. Pixie dust to you for luck.

Hi
Last yr our package included transfers by STAR towncar. Pick up at MCO was great, nice guy was waiting for us etc. For leaving resort and going back to MCO I called 24 hours in advance like I was supposed to . Towncar was 45 minutes late. The head valet CM was nice enought to call them , they had no excuse!! Luckily we had left enough time to return or we would've missed our flight... The driver was rude. My DH had to load and unload bags (needless to say he didn't get tipped) Also The GF valet said that they have a lot of problems with STAR. He recommended Mears towncars or Tiffany. We're renting a minivan this year, less hassles and the ability to go off site easier

Star Taxi is fine

Hi,

Just to let you know Star Taxi is just fine, used them last trip and they were prompt and friendly, I was told that booking them thru WDTC the price was comparable to the other Companys. We had absolutely no problems with them at the pick up at the airport and they were right there in the a.m. when we left the hotel, just call the day before to confirm time and number to be picked up.

I wouldn't worry about there service, we are using them again this trip coming up in Nov. Have a wonderful trip.
