Star Tours Walker Rehab

Can any recent visitors confirm whether the rehab is finished on the AT-AT (Walker) outside Star Tours? I know a few months ago it was stripped down to the steel frame, but haven't heard if the work was completed yet.

I was there April 8-13th and it was still under rehab then, it didn't even look CLOSE to finished. Just a bare metal frame from what we saw. The CM my DH asked DID say it would be done before Star Wars Weekend, which I believe is coming up...

Oh no, DS just saw Star Wars and loved it. Thought the AT-AT walkers were so cool. Told him we would see one at Disney. Hope it is done when we go in June.

I'm hopeful it will be finished by the first Star Wars weekend (May 20th). I've seen many posts taht it will be finished by May 5th for the opening of the 50th year celebration.

Disney has permenetly relocated the at at walkers. They are now on the resorts that have refillable mug programs. they are being used to police people who bring mugs from a previous visit

Does this mean that I am with the Dark Side of the force if I bring My old Dixie Landings refillable mug to our May trip at PO-FQ?

As of Thursday April 29 the work has not been completed. Only work yet to be done is one set of legs to be repainted, then the boards can come down.
