Star Tours question

Is Star Tours rotating the segments as normal right now?

We did it twice on our first two days here, and we basically got the same story both times:

1. Intro: Kylo Ren or Stormtrooper
2. Jakku
3. Crait
4. Landing at Batuu

has anyone had a different experience? We haven’t gone again since it seems to only be doing the Sequel Trilogy stuff to promote Galaxy’s Edge.

Our experience was a Big Nope. Was hoping now that SWGE was open they’d switch it back to the rotating storylines, but apparently they still feel the need to hype the TLJ and GE...I have no idea why??!lol

3. Death Star/Boba Fett
4. Landing in the hangar with everyone cheering

We were surprised and excited to see the “old stuff”. We almost avoided that ride because we were sick of the same experience.

It does vary, but IME it’s about 10 times to 1 or 2 in terms of the new to old.

OMG!!!! So jealous!! The Death Star with Boba is my ALL TIME FAVE! well, happy to know it’s not the same tired scenes all the time. My DS has refused anymore ST because the TLJ & GE scenes are all we ever get these days!

Rode 4 times mid-June, and got two new (Jakku / Crait / Batuu) and two old:

both started Vader / Kashyyyk, with one ending Fett / Death Star /rebel hangar cheering, and one ending on Naboo.

I really hope it’s back to rotating now. When I was there last year they only had a couple of scenarios. I was bummed
I really hope it’s different for my upcoming August trip.

It rotates, but all the ST content is segmented off. So if that version only gets two openings and three transitions as random parts. On another thread I linked to my twitter thread from the day I rode it 15 times in a row and while I never got Geneosis, when you get the PT/ST content you still get the 2/3/3/3 options - PLUS easter egg variants. I did get all ST two rides in a row once, so it's just luck of the draw if you keep getting it.
