Star Tours Fastpass Wait?

May be too soon to answer while they work out the kinks but...
I assume Star Tours Fastpass wait will build as the day goes on. It's a must ride, but kids won't make it if wait is longer than an hour.
How long did you wait for Star Tours *WITH* Fastpass?

Went on it Sunday around 11 am and it was about 10 min. Later in the day the line was around 30-40 (and mostly outside, so it was hot!). We went straight inside and just had the wait in there (which was fun with the talking robots).

Oh dear -- hour wait with a fastpass! Is that because they are issuing too many or because people are all waiting to ride later? Or maybe they are not letting so many more FP holders on than standby liners. Hmmm... hope things settle a bit in the next month.

Was there on Saturday. Got a fastpass as soon as the park opened then got into the standby line. Wait was only 20 minutes at that point. Used fastpass and only waited maybe 10 minutes. Got another fastpass for later in the day and again only waited about 10 minutes. At this point, the standby line was about 2hours but fastpass was quick.

Today the posted wait time for standby was only 70 minutes. This was around 1:30 p.m. FP were gone by then, of course. We didn't get there in time to get a FP so can't say wait the wait in FP line.

Little Mermaid was posted as 45 minutes but wow it looked way longer. They were actually lining up in the WoC viewing area.

Saturday:
I had a similar experience. First thing in the morning wait to get a FP was like 15 mins (talking at park open here) but when using the FP to ride it was only about 10 min wait. The line to get a FP quickly went down after the rope drop and had no more than 5 min wait, if any.

Standby was posting a solid 70mins+ throughout the day.

WOW... a line for FP too. Thats pretty magical, isn't it. Oh well, waiting in line for anything at DL is better than a great day at work anyday. I think...

The line to get FPs moves pretty quickly. One day, I got in line at the end of MM. Second day, I got in line after Minnie's Breakfast, and again when I was able to get another FP. I was actually pretty surprised at how fast I got through.

As far as the ride, we never waited more than 35 minutes to ride with FP (more often it was shorter), but we did save them for later in the evening. On Monday, we were able to ride 3 times within an hour and a half. I still had a set of FPs but we weren't able to use them before park close.

1 hour FP wait vs a 4-5 hour standby line crazy lines!!!

I was at DL on Sunday and although I do think the FP line could have easily been an hour, I walked by Star Tours several times between noon and 7:30 pm and the posted standby wait was always between 165 and 225 minutes (and getting less as the day went on). That's certainly a long time to wait for any attraction, but still far less than the five hours I keep seeing on this site.

I was also there on Friday, and although cast members were quoting five hour waits near the end of the opening ceremonies, I don't believe it was ever more than three and a half hours, based on the timing I waited in its lines throughout the day.

Just trying to dispel these crazy Internet rumors.

We went to DL on Monday the 6th. We got into the park about 9:30 a.m., and headed straight for ST. We got FP's for 5:40 p.m. which just blew me away but I was just happy to get them at all. The standby line was about 120 minutes at that point.

We spent some time at both parks and returned to ST about 5:15 and could not believe the FP line was as long as it was. They claimed it was 30 minutes but it took more like 45. The standby line was 220 minutes when we walked by the sign. Had to take a picture of that.

Hard to believe that just before it closed my son and I rarely had to wait in line at all to go on ST, but it was worth it. The changes are amazing.

Went on it 6/7, with a FP we picked up in the morning; return time of 4pm...waited maybe 10 minutes in the FP line. The standby was always 120-220 minutes our whole trip. The ride and changes were great! Well worth it...also walked onto Ariel's new ride NO WAIT at 5pm on 6/9. Cute ride.

Sun 6/12 and Mon 6/13 we lined up on the Tomorrowland side of Main Street before rope drop and waited standby. Finished ride at 8:28 on Sunday, but 9:10 on Monday because they didn't block Main Street from the sidewalk with a rope as they did on Sunday, and when people in Main Street saw the opening they started shoving in to the Star Tours line outside Plaza Inn.
Got Fastpasses immediately after exiting the ride on Sunday; line to get FP was only about 3 minutes, and the FPs were for about 1pm.
When we used FP late afternoon on Sunday, standby was over 2hrs, but FP line took less than 10 minutes! With FP you get to go straight into the old entrance; the standby line snakes from outside and through the building next to ST they used to use for stroller parking--so much longer than it looks!
On Monday we didn't bother with FP --the line to get FP looked to be around 10 minutes and the FP return display was already showing late afternoon.
Good to get ST done ASAP and let those willing to wait standby suck the crowds from the other rides!-- It was extremely busy, but using other FPs we waited less than 10 min to ride Indy, Space Mountain, and BTMR; plus only a 20 min wait for Peter Pan late afternoon!

today fast pass line at 8:00 am was all the way back to the castle. took 15 minutes to get to fastpass machine.
