Star Tours, can you update me?

I will be at HS in mid April. Is Star Tours exclusively scenes from the new movie? Are there multiple scene sequences like in the past where each ride could be different?

Just wondering if I should be planning on multiple rides. Thanks!

2. Yes. Some from the new film, some not.

Is it random? My son would LOVE to fly through the Battle of Hoth. It's his favorite part of any of the movies.

Until last week the first battle scene was still fixed on the Jakku scene, they said they would bring it back to all random scenes but the first part is still only Jakku, the rest of the scenes are still random

We did it twice in December. The first and second parts were the same new scenes both times and the third/last scene was what changed. I hope at some point that they start mixing in some of the older films at the beginning again. It's much better as a random thing altogether.

I agree- but I guess the worry is that guests will be very unhappy if they wait on line and do not get to see the scenes based on the new movie.

I liked the new scenes, but I usually plan to ride ST 4-5 times a trip...and I missed the randomness for the first few scenes.

I agree with you, maybe when the bluray dvd comes out they'll put it back to random?

Well we're not going until October, so maybe it will be back to fully random by then.

And it is my favorite Star Tours scene. I want to see the new stuff, but I want the old scenes randomizing, too. (And I'm another one who rides 5-6 times a trip.)
