Star sightings in the parks?

The only people i have seen were doing something special at the parks like Jennie Garth when she was on Dancing with the Stars... But during the 50th anniversary I ended up sitting next to Sylvia Brown (psychic) in the Hilton lobby and my cousins rode the elevator with Vanilla Ice. My brother and cousin also saw John Lasseter at the park and stalked him for awhile so they could say they "rode" with him.

When we were there in 2009 we waited our turn for Toy Story Mania. Just as we were about to go into the loading zone, Courtney Cox, David Arquette and their kids were put ahead of us from the special line. As they got settled into their cars we were allowed to go into the loading zone. I was looking the other way and suddenly I bumped shoulders with someone who, as a result of us bumping, went flying in the direction they came from. When I turned around I realized it was David who quickly apologized and got into a different car.

Yes my brush, literary, with fame.

I saw Al Pacino in California Adventure Park about 4 years ago.

Drew Carey
Ryan Stiles
Wayne Brady
Colin Machrie
John Ritter
...at California Adventure

George Lopez's room was next door to ours at the GCH.

Hugh Hefner and the Dahm Triplets exiting Space Mountain. And then again later in Fantasyland.

Jay Buhner and family in line ahead of us for Indiana Jones on September 12, 2001.

i'm like the person who said they've probably walked by some celebrity and didn't eve know it. NYE 1991 we walked right by michael jackson and his entourage. the only reason it occurred to me it was him was because there were a lot of teenage girls following them yelling...michael michael! I turned around to look again and could see just his hat and his long curly hair.

I remember feeling glad that I wasn't a celebrity with a bunch of people mobbing me.

Walked by a guy with a sleeveless shirt and noticed a bunch of people starting to crowd around him.

Cameras showed up and then realized it was Larry the Cable Guy. (He was filming commercials for Cars Land.)

He really does have the demeanor of an average guy just hanging out.

I walked by Christian Bale twice in one day, and had another friend step on Joe Montana's foot.

I met Vincent Martella (Phineas, on Phineas and Ferb). He was so friendly. He sat with me and my 15 high school students and watched the Soundsational parade. He took photos with us and signed autographs. And he also spent some time talking to my Theatre students about what it is like to be an actor and how to get into the business. It was a great experience.

My daughter wants to know if you have seen or met famous people...chance encounters...at the parks? aside from the Disney characters, I tried that already haha...she wants to see Miley ad Christina Augulara :D She's 6

We saw Jason Earls (from Hannah Montana) last October, he was just hanging out with a couple of buddies enjoying all the rides. My wife got a picture with him.

Tell her to keep an eye out for Disney Channel kids -- we see them in the parks often, and they're the only celebrities we ask to take photos with as they usually seem "on", not visiting with their families. My 9 yr old usually spots them, but doesn't want to take a photo, but my 6 yr old will walk up and tell them who they "are" on TV and ask for a photo--who would refuse? They've all been extremely friendly, sweet, and happy to pose with my DD. We have photos with CeCe from Shake It Up, Kim from Kickin It, and Kris from Let It Shine. Sorry I don't know their real names :)

My oldest two would be so excited! I wouldn't be able to identify them, but I know my girls would spot them in a second.

Forest Whitaker, Casper Van Dien, Kate and the girls (Jon and Kate plus Eight), Robert Irvine (dinner impossible), Guy Fieri, Brent Spiner and Levar Burton (Star Trek: TNG!!!)

I think there are a couple others, but I can't remember any more off the top of my head.

We saw Michael Buble a couple of years ago. Well, actually, for the sake of full disclosure, I, as usual, was oblivious. But my 20-something DD stopped in her tracks with an audible gasp and a squeaky "hi". He replied with a "Hi Princess" (she had a tierra on) and totally made her day.

I saw Robert Patrick there once, we were seated next to him at Storytellers café in 2005.
Though he has done tons of stuff he is best known as the evil terminator in terminator 2
my husband asked if I was sure it was him and when he got up to get more food I looked at the but in tight jeans and remembered his but shot from terminator and said oh yes that is him. My husband kept telling me to get an autograph but he was with his wife and two small kids, and every once in a while a Disney tour guide (the same one) kept coming to their table so I assumed she was there to stop autograph people. He got up before he left and thanked the chef. Then left with his family and the Disney tour guide person.

I assume most famous people have Disney security or something while they are there

Meeting "S T A R S" you do not know? I will share one of my experiences. The week of Christmas 2010 was a lot of fun at the DLR. We had a lot of fun in the parks and my two sons had the chance to see that stars do live somewhat normal lives when not on stage or in front of a camera. :happytv:
We got in line at Peter Pan one morning and had a family of four get in line directly behind us. After a couple of minutes, I noticed several people openly staring at us. A few minutes later, a lot of people were stopping and staring, people in the line with us and people just walking by. I asked the guy if he or his wife were movie stars or something. He started laughing and quietly stated that I didn't strike him as a daytime soap fan. I told him no, I did not watch soaps and never had. He said it was quite obvious or I would know who he was. My wife introduced herself and our boys to him and his family at this point and told him she knew who he was. He asked me if I would like to have a little fun with all the people that were now staring at all of us and taking pictures. Hey, always ready to have some fun! Anyway, he quietly told me on the count of three we would both turn towards all the people and smile and wave. We did, the people were taking pictures, waving back, our wives were laughing, and DL security arrived and asked us to please keep the line moving. We had held up the line a little with all the smiling, waving, and picture taking. All of us moved further down in line. He laughed a lot and told us he loved doing the smile and wave thing for the fans. His wife told us HE really enjoyed doing it. Several minutes later when we finished the ride, DL security was waiting for all of us at the exit. DL security were a bit surprised that we were not together and had just met while getting in line for the ride. Upon exiting we went to the right and the soap star and family went left towards the castle with DL security and CMs. Who was he? I do not have any idea. My wife still laughs about it...:cool1:

You would of loved the Soap Stars weekend! I think they only did it once or maybe twice early in DCA's history when they had the Soap Star Cafe. I went, was only kinda into Port Charles but many of the GH folks were there. Got pictures with (and I will probably mess up character Names) Lucky, Sunny, and the prince character... Was it Nicholas?
