I had heard that a long time ago (thanks to Howard Stern!).

I always wondered what the heck was wrong with her. She's extremely smart, but pretty dopey at the same time.

Is she smart or does she just have an air of someone who thinks they know everything.

The funny thing is I see very few posts stating how sorry they are she is leaving. Frankly it was pretty rude to tell the public before she told Barbara after all Star was a no body and Barbara made her who she is. Yes I KNOW she was some cable network news show but that did not get her a million dollar Payless Ad Campaigan did it?

Come on, was it really a surprise? Its been discussed that Star was asked to leave as part of Rosie's acceptance of the job. Also, wasn't Star's contract up anyway? I'm not sure the announcement was such an on-air surprise, if you know what I mean.

I think she had very low self esteem a couple of years ago. So she falls for a guy like Al. He in turn sees it as a win win situation. She may be over sized (at that time) BUT, she has money, she has a career, and best of all she would be busy with that career and he would still have time for his "extra curricular" activities.

NOW, she has lost the weight, lost the View, and probably is ready and willing to lose the marriage.

I doubt many people are surprised, it's just that now it's official.
I don't get the marrying a gay man part either. I can see why people do it, but then they should keep quiet about their marriage. she goes on and on about him and it's all just a big farse!

I don't watch the view very frequently - so I don't get the public perception of Star Jones.

I have seen enough of Rosie to know that I'll be watching even less of The View once she joins the cast!
