DH thought he had read or heard somewhere that there was a short class or activity one night on board with stars and a telescope. Was he just dreaming or do they really have an evening class in this??Just wondering.....Thanks!
I don't recall seeing it in the navigator, but I could've missed it since it's not my thing. I would suggest that you check out the navigators posted at the various sites. I think Barb has them on her site: http://www.castawayclub.com/
Actually, on the 8/3 Magic cruise something like this was brought up at the Captain's Corner talk. One guest asked about having a class, or a specific area set aside for stargazing at night. Jacqui, the cruise director said it was a great idea and she would pass along the suggestion to the powers that be.
I've noticed that right now on DCL, there are too many lights from the ship to see any real stars or planets. When we sailed on Princess, the very front of the ship was pitch black and you could lie in a lounge chair and star gaze.
I guess DCL does not want to have any one area completely dark for safety or other reasons.
