Staples Rewards Question-Lost Certificate

I am so annoyed with myself. I have been meaning to get to Stapes to use my rewards check. This is the first one I ever got. I finally made an effort to get there today and put the check in my pocket. Well, it must have fallen out. I checked the car, not there, all over the house, no luck---I just can't seem to find it. Will they re-issue the check? I am running out of time, it expires on New Years Eve. If you have had one re-issued, how did you just call?

The terms and conditions shown on their website indicate that "expired, lost or misdirected Rewards will not be reissued."

You may be out of luck.

They will replace it - just go to the website and ask. I lost one a month or so ago - it took about 2 weeks to get the replacement.

you can also call the number on your card. It happened to me and they sent me a replacement.

I am surprised that they will reissue those- what if it has already been picked up and used by someone else? They don't ask for ID or anything- I gave my last one to a friend to use since I wasn't going to be needing anything there.

The certificates have a bar code. When that code goes into the register it comes up on your Rewards account as having been used.
