Got mine, Thanks! With inbetween housing till we can move to our new house I would have missed this if not for Dis.

Any other places have good deals this week? I have 3 kids and no list yet for the new school so I am worried and don;t want to be stuck buying all last minute at full price.

20 folders
4 boxes of pencils
6 -1" binders
4 bottles of purell
all for $1.90

DH felt like he was was driving the get away car as seen in the IKEA commercials.

The teacher limit for this sale is 25. Each override has to be done manually and you may not be charged correctly.

This happened with me this morning. I thought the total was a little high so I double checked my receipt/bag. The manual override was not done on three of my items so I had to get $5 refunded back to me.

Check your receipts--especially if you have quantity override.

With my teacher card in hand I hit up the three Staples within 10 miles of my house!! I got 100 pencil packs, 50 hand sanitizers, and 50 folders. So in total I have 800 pencils!!!!

I teach in a very underprivileged area so I NEED those pencils! When paper gets to $0.25 I will be stocking up on that too.

we got our purel, pencils and folders today. i'm doing the 'no buy july' but this barely counted as spending money!

We went in today and between DH and I we got 4 packs of pencils, 8 clear cover binders (which were on DS12's supply list) 4 containers of Purell, 20 folders and 2 packages of highlighters which I've already filled out the online rebate forms for They also had Cars Color Wonder sets on clearance for $2, so I grabbed one of those to stash in my Disney box for our trip!

I went today as well and was able to get the teacher limit on everything. I will also advise teachers to check their receipts as mine was completely messed up because the cashier forgot to override the limits. It took forever for them to fix but it was worth it to get so many supplies for my classroom.

Thanks for whoever posted the info that the sale was starting today. My 5 yr old DD got a kick out of buying her own stuff. I picked up the limit on everything today and plan on going back later this week for more. I want to buy a bunch extra to give to the Salvation Army for their back to school bags they do for the kids. I'm keeping the purell stuff tho...I need those for treat bags for a party.
Wally World should be having their 5 packs for $1 glue sticks and 10 cent crayons soon too. I usually buy $1 worth of each of those and they last us all year.

There are limits on the amount of items you can get. I wonder how they got away with buying cart fulls?
I went this morning, forgot my teacher ID , and was only able to buy 2 of the pencil packs, 2 hand sanitizers, 10 folders and 4 binders. And they definitely had PLENTY! I will be going back tomorrow with my teacher ID, which I was told would enable me to buy 25 of each...

I had NO idea teachers could purchase a larger quantity!! I just put my teacher's card in my purse.

Does the easy rebate work for more than one package of the highlighters? It says only one per household so I only bought one figuring the rebate wouldn't work for more than that. I'd love to get more packages if I can get more than one rebate!

I bought 25 of each 1 cent item plus the highlighters which I will get back the $ on the easy rebate, so it cost me $1.10 (w/tax) for everything!

I'm going again tomorrow to get more folders and Purell. I'll warn you that the pencils are pretty junky. They don't sharpen well in the sharpener. I bought the 25 packages to use at school for extras, but hopefully my students will bring higher quality pencils.

The easy rebate is one per household. If you got another one you would need a different name/email/address and phone number.

I went this morning and got my Purell's that was really all I wanted. My DD's use the plastic folders, they last longer. I took my DD & DH so we each got 2 I work in a classroom but I am not the teacher. I didn't ask for more but when I spoke to the cashier and told her I was an assistant & am always using my Purell, she let me grab 2 more
I have to go to the bank tomorrow and Staples is in the same shopping center, so I will hit them again. I will take my DD with me and get 4 more. I will bring my school ID and see if they let me get a few more? I really do use them like water in school. We cannot have the large bottles in our desk, but we can keep the smaller ones on us. I will pick up some pencils too.. I am forever running out of them too.

If you have the time, I would go back each day until Wednesday or go twice in the day but at different times of course.
