Hi,
I sent the passport pages over to Staples to have them printed in color and the manager at the print area said they could not print these because of Disney copyright laws. She said that if I could get a written letter stating that I do have permission to print these then they would look at it and see if it releases them to be able to print them.
They said they needed a person contact, address, and phone number to be able to speak to someone.
Is this normal? I hadn't read that anyone else has had this happen to them.
Should I try another printer?
Thanks, ~Betty

That does happen...depending on who is working at the time. Try another printer and if that doesn't work...ask the original DISigner if they will send you a letter. I believe the passports are Natalie's (Donatalie). My sister and I often take pictures of other people and sometimes they have to get a letter from us to get them printed even though we aren't professionals and did the work for free.

Who did you get to print them? (I am making passports for my boys, and I need to have them printed, too.) Thanks! :goodvibes

Getting permission from the DISigner won't get you passed the Disney copyright. They would want permission from the copyright holder. That would be you in the case of a photo you took, but not for anything that uses Disney copyrighted characters, etc.
