I've been planning to use Wait Magic and Standby Skipper to refine our LL plan for our upcoming trip (from Christmas to New Years), but I've recently read some comments that these services are down, or far less functional, since a recent Disney software update. Can anyone confirm if these services are currently working or not? Thanks in advance!

I'm not familiar with Wait Magic, but I used SS the week of Thanksgiving and it worked. I didn't notice any difference vs how it worked in July.

No. Saw another post where it indicated that discussing it is against ToS because the service is against Disney rules. So this will prob get deleted.
I'm not sure how it is against the rules. You are not providing your login information you are instead allowing the service to be your "friend".
Friends are able to make ADR's and LL for others as outlined by Disney.

It's a third party charging money for a service at Disney parks and Disney isn't getting any of it. It's clearly stated in their ToS and they've dropped the hammer on other types of businesses when they've felt like it's gone too far.

Was a bigger deal when it was being used to snipe VQ spots for recently opened rides but can't imagine Disney is a fan of them.

"(3) when making a reservation for a client who is a Friend (as defined in “Family and Friends” below), you confirm that the Friend has granted you the authority to make a reservation on his/her behalf, and that you will communicate to such Friend all of the relevant charges and rules associated with the reservation,"

"

We are not liable or responsible for the conduct of the family or friends you choose to connect with on the Disney (including travel agents), including their planning or modifying activities on your behalf, or for a family or friend’s use of any information you chose to share with the family or friend (including travel agents)."

Basically these apps are not doing anything differently than a travel agent who is also paid.
I'm not seeing anything that shows these services are violating the TOS at the moment. Can you point me to where it is?
