Standby lines

We'll be on our first trip to Universal this Christmas, staying in the HRH, so will have the unlimited express pass. Is there any lines that are worth doing standby at quieter times, e.g., first thing in the morning, to see the theming?

Do Despicable Me as early as possible because even the Express Pass line can build up for this popular ride.

Also remember that Forbidden Journey, Pteranodon Flyer and Ollivander's do not have express.

Take advantage of your early admission for the Harry Potter areas.

the ones i do are:
dr doom
spiderman
Mummy
ET
MIB


i stay onsite and use the express lines but, first thing in the morning i hit the above rides early in order to do the regular line.
you miss a lot in the above lines when you only use the express lines.

once the lines build, i use the express lines for the rides.

i do stay onsite for decent number of days so it is not an issue for me to use the regular lines when the general public is let into the parks.

The Mummy is one we will go through the regular queue if it`s really quiet..............it is cool to do.

I have never gone through the regular MIB queue.......must try it sometime
