How does standby work for BOG dinner? Do you literally just have to stand in line in the hopes that someone cancels a reservation, or can you add your party to a standby list for them to call you in the event of last minute cancellations?

As far as I know its like any other table service restaurant. You ask at the podium if they are taking walk ups, if they are they will have you wait (it can be a while) but likely they will be fully booked.

Lunch has a stand by line to wait on if you don't have a fast pass.

I don't think they will call. They may give you a buzzer but that's it.

When we went in September, several people in front of us (waiting ot check in with our ADR) got on a standby list - they were called before us! (we had to wait 45 min past our ADR - the CM said that it was due ot stand by walk ups that they are taking first???)

At all of the DW restaurants, if you walk up without a reservation the CMs at the podium will tell you that either they are not accepting walk ups, they are not accepting walk ups now but you can check back again later in the evening, or they will take your name and you and your whole party will have to wait at the restaurant until you are called.

You have a better chance if you go at the start of the meal service or close to the end and if you are a smaller party.

When are you going? I look a couple times a day randomly. Today I found one and we leave in 4 days! I checked the whole week and there were times open for almost all the days. I reserved two time frames b/c we are at MK twice. The 2nd one is on a night they are open to midnight & it's a Sunday (So busy time to score a BOG reservation. So keep checking, especially the last couple of days!
