Standardized RunDisney Courses?

What do we make of these course titles?

"runDisney 2024-2025 Season 10k Course"

"runDisney 2024-2025 Season 5k Course"

Interesting find! My initial gut reaction is that the 5K and 10K courses don't actually vary that much anymore anyway, with the exception of the SS 10K. Perhaps this was just a way of simplifying certifications?

Could be standardized, but could also be just a descriptive file name.

We already see the same 5k for all 4 weekends right? I’d guess they’re going to use the same 10k now too. Especially since this is the course for W&D when the last few years it’s been the course that dips into studios.

I'm going to agree with the others: that these will be the same 5K and 10K routes for all race weekends.
Simplifies a lot. Downside is the lack of variety for those who do multiple race weekends.
YMMNV (Your milage may not vary....)

While I enjoy the 10Ks in Florida, this gives Disneyland a huge advantage in that all 3 of its courses spend extensive time in both California Adventure and Disneyland. Disneyland 5K race corrals are on Main Street, start right by the castle and the Matterhorn and finish in Pixar Pier. The 10K is probably close to 4 miles of park/backstage time.

SS 10K has been the Epcot to boardwalk course all 3 years. W&D and Princess the last 2 years have been the HS route, and MW 2022.

For MW 2024 we got the good 10k course and for Princess 2024 we got the not so good one
