Standard Wheelchair - Car Rental or Buses

We are traveling to WDW 1 week after my DD gets her cast off. I don't know how much walking she will be able to do, obviously.

So we will be renting a wheelchair for our entire stay (thanks for the stickies). What are your experiences with renting a car vs. using the buses with a wheelchair.

Either way will work, but we prefer going by car.

I can't exactly say why, but I think after being all day in the park I just don't want to deal with the lines for the buses or the wait or the crowds on the buses. There is room for two or three scooters/wheelchairs per bus. If you leave during peak periods this can be rough getting a spot on the bus.

You will get more tired pushing a wheelchair all day and I just don't want to deal with Disney transportation.
