Hi all :)

I'm on the brink of booking to go to DLP in early June with my husband and 2 kids for our first ever visit.... can't wait!!!! :cool1:

Would like to budget in advance as much as possible so we've been looking at the Meal Plans and wondered if it's worth the extra paying for the "Plus" plan rather than the basic "Standard". Notice that the "Plus" plan includes the option of a Character Meal at Cafe Mickey which would be great.

Any advice/opinions would be really appreciated...

Thanks in advance :)

how much difference is there in what you'd have to pay between the 2 plans? you could have a look at the menus for each restaurant on each plan, see what you'd prefer? you can use standard meal plan vouchers at cash value for Cafe Mickey too, if the standard restaurants appeal to you more than the plus restaurants.

Thanks for replying Elaine :goodvibes

The "standard" meal plan is £256 for us (4 nights), and the "plus" plan is £320 - so £64 more for the superior plan. However, one character meal at the Cafe Mickey would cost £88... so maybe it's worth it???

at cafe mickey you can order what you like from the menu. you dont have to get the three course meal if you dont want to. i order a pizza and drinks and share with my three year old. it costs just under twenty euros. to be honest the food in cafe mickey doesnt appeal to me. we go there for the characters.

i dont think any of the meal plans are very good value. you could save more by shopping around and seeing where and what you want to eat.
