Standard View Kidani

First time staying in Standard View, we've always stayed in savannahs. Any particular requests that may give us the best luck as far as views. Not looking for savannah, but best of standard I guess...

We booked standard view at Kidani in May and we had a parking lot view. I hated it. I booked standard view to save points and regretted the decision.

I did the same thing in June of 2009 and hated it also. The resort was not completely open yet, so the OP might get a better view than I had. Besides the parking lot, I could see the businesses on 192, which really bothered me and I decided right then and there I would NEVER again stay at AKV - Kidani with a standard view.

OP - I think if you ask for pool view, you might do better than either one of us. Good luck.

maybe a standard (pool?) view at Jambo?
can you request pool views?

We had a SV in Oct last year and yes we had a view of the tennis courts but that was ok. I can walk around the resort to see the animals.

DH and I had a standard view last May and we didn't mind. We had a view of the main entrance of Kidani but I really enjoyed being so close to the lobby. It was just the two of us and we've done savanna views before and we were saving up points for another trip so it worked out.
