What exactly does a standard view room mean at CBR....what is the best view for a room at CBR.....

It could be parking lot or courtyard. If you look at the resort map, buildings closer to the lake (like 25) do not have any parking lot views. I requested it because I wanted to be close to the food court (26 is closer but has some parking lot views) and got it. We had a courtyard view a few steps acround the corner from the lake.

Hi! We stayed at CBR in Jamaica - bldg 46. We had a king bed standard view (rm 4608). There was, I believe, a distant parking lot view. But we never really drew the curtains (no balconies at CBR) when we were in the room. Bldg 45 is behind 46 toward the lake. It doesn't look, from my map, that it has any parking lot view. It is very close to the bridge crossing over to Parrot Cay Island which has a children's play area and tropical birds. They also pipe in music throughout. You have to walk across the island to get to Old Port Royale (food court) but it is a fairly short walk and very nice. I have a map so if anyone has any questions regarding proximity of bldgs, etc., just ask.

By the way sweet...we used to live in Niagara Falls too 4 years ago. Lived right on the river.

Have a great trip.

your input is much appreciated......we are going to try to get Martinique, but any of the buildings look beautiful & a parking lot view is no big deal really....how often will we be in the room gazing out anyway!! By the way, I'm from Buffalo.....we are practically neighbors sweet!

...like a silly question, but does CBR have elevators? When we stayed at CSR, those did. We assumed that all the mod's did, until we stayed on the 2nd floor of Dixie Landings (POR Riverside) and these buildings DO NOT!!!! Imgine carrying luggage for 5 for a week's stay up 2 flights of steps....!!!!!!

kimmar - I don't think they have elevators but I'm not entirely sure. We stayed on the 1st floor. You don't have to carry your luggage up tho. Bell services does that for you. We found them very efficient taking us to our room and picking us up at the end of our stay.

We, too, stayed at Riverside and were on the 2nd floor. There were only 2 of us and I wish I had carried my own luggage as they took over 2 hours to deliver it to the room!

The reason we carried our luggage up to the 2nd floor at DxL is that we drove to WDW and it would have been silly to upack our car when checking in and then transport all of our "stuff" to the room. So, we just drove to our bldg with our fully-loaded car and unpack then. Unfortunately, at that time we did not know to request a 1st floor room.......
