Standard v Preferred at AS Movies

We've just booked an unexpected trip and will be staying at the AS Music 3/3 - 3/6.

Can anyone explain to me the difference between these 2 categories of room? With my AP discount, there's only a $40 difference over the course of 3 nights. But if there's no real benefit, then I'd just assume get the standard room.

Preferred rooms are in Fantasia, Toy Story, or 101 Dalmatians.......The standard rooms are not......

You will be closer to the pool, bus and restorant. I loved fantasia . All-star Mo is big, so if you have small kids, I'd take it.

I wouldn't waste the $10/night. The walk is small no matter where you are. We were "upgraded" to toy story and in the preferred section I guess. We did walk around the resort and noticed that no matter where we would have been put it would have been fine.

I personally would save the $10 because walking an extra 400 yards isn't a big deal.
