I just got an email saying that my image might infringe on copyrights or trademarks.....

Now I'm not sure if they are talking about the font, or the fact that I used an image like mickey ears. I was inspired by someone's logo here on the boards and was hoping to recreate it...leaving the circles opened instead of closed. I did, however, use the waltograph font. They said I could send them a fax which probably leaves them free and clear from lawsuits, but I'm not sure which of the picture is the problem they are having....UGHHHH
I ordered these rush to get the invites out this weekend....now I have to start over???
Any suggestions for a last minute bride who needs to get her invites out quick??

Please ignore the second date....i was messing with the date in a different font....i'm not going to fix it now...no point...sigh

I had the SAME problem!!!!! I went to Zazzle and they rejected my stamp even though it was my own design, well it had some disney in it but it was my design!! LOL. They wouldn't even use my engagement picture because they didn't know if I had the rights to the image!!!! Needless to say I went and got the plain old LOVE stamp from the post office. :headache:

I found that zazzle is more protective of disney infringement because of their sweetheart relationship. They just don't want to chance it.
I had much better luck with PhotoStamps.com, which also gets a discount through Costco.

It was photostamps that rejected me :guilty: and the discount from costco was giving me a hard time last night too:mad:

In the interest of time, I had to go with zazzle and their licensed imaging. We wanted to work with them first anyway but found the problem to be their stamp prices. I found yesterday that zazzle doesn't do .79 cent stamps, and we have a 1.5 oz square shaped envelope for our invitations. But, stamps.com did, so I went there, keeping my fingers crossed and hoping beyond hope that my photoshop effects would work on a regular pic.

So, in the end, we went back to zazzle and wound up getting a .93 cent stamp instead, biting the bullet and paying extra. I got it through ebates.com, so I am getting 10% cashback, plus I found an online coupon for $10 off the purchase (meancoupons1 is the code!), so I'm not too upset, but we still wound up paying a little more...not to mention the lost time in processing.

Unlike most super prepared DISbrides out there, I kinda left the invitations to the last minute. It took us a month to get all the kinks worked out with invitationconsultants between approving the proofs and compiling the address list. We upgraded our shipping so we have the invites tomorrow, so we'll be putting stamps on them this weekend. Hopefully!

At this point, I'd like to think that most people know if they are going or not, considering they got their save the date in July...our RSVP is Dec. 20th.
