I have been stalking the DVC site daily hoping that the 2 bedroom theme park view on 11/26 we waitlisted would come through or become available. Today the stalking paid off! I was able to grab the villa and now we are all set for our Thanksgiving week trip. Woohoo!

So - do you cancel your reservation or make a new one then cancel the old one. Also if that is the case how does waitlist work if there was availability but it didn’t come through?

I modified the existing reservation I had at Bay Lake with a different room category once i saw that the room on my waitlist was available on the resort availability tool. Then I called DVC to have them merge my reservations and to cancel the waitlist.

I’m stalking for May!

Stalking won for me this morning. I had a waitlist for a week at Bwv 2 bedroom for mid August. Logged on and saw it was available. Managed to get to my dashboard and switch my BR reservation. Only had to back button a couple of times. This will be my third and last attempt to a trip for the grandkids, though I’m not optimistic. I then deleted my waitlist.

Thanks to the suggestions on this thread - I was able to add three days to our thanksgiving trip which was amazing - so we are now going to (hopefully) be at Wilderness Lodge in a 1 bedroom CCV for EIGHT DAYS AAAHHHHHH i can't wait.
