Stainless steel thermos need to go through bag check?

We're thinking of going bagless since we're doing 1/2 day mornings to avoid the blazing summer midday heat. However, we want to take one stainless steel thermos bottle of water. I'm concerned that this thermos will defeat the whole point of going bagless (to avoid bag check line).
I also thought about freezing a disposable water bottle, but I'm concerned that it won't melt quickly enough. I also dislike being wet from all the condensation as the ice melts.

Anyone have guidance regarding the bag check line policy for non-see through bottles?

not sure about your question, but you can ask for free water+ ice at qs places... so you don't have to carry anything...

It will depend on the CMs at bag check. Some might let you through, but others will see you carrying something and will require you to go through bag check.

This. They are supposed to look over any drinks being brought into the parks to make sure they are not alcoholic. Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't.
