What are the options in staying in Port Canaveral the night before the cruise? Which hotels offer the best connection to the boat the next morning?

Doesn't one of the hotels have an Avis rental return?

Thanks

We stayed at the Radisson in September and were very pleased. It is about 1 mile from the ships and used to have an Avis location, which has since moved about another mile down the road. My DH dropped us and the luggage off at the pier and then returned the car, taking the Avis shuttle back. The Radisson also offers a free shuttle and free parking for the length of your cruise. It was quick and painless.

The evening before the cruise we relaxed with a pizza and fruity frosty cocktails poolside at the Radisson. They had live music and a nice pool area. We also wandered next door for go karts and video games.

We had a standard room and my DSIL had a one bedroom suite. Both were clean and comfortable.

If the search function worked you'd find lots of posts about the Radisson. It seems to be the most popular choice for pre cruise stays.

Have a blast with whatever you decide!

also, you can go to Dave's site-- www.dcltribute.com as he has quite a nice bit about places to stay, proximity to rental car locations, and other options for getting to the port. I used his site quite a bit to help in all my planning.

BTW, we stayed at the Radisson the night before in the whirlpool suite and liked it a lot.
