Has anyone been to this theater (it's near the airport)? We're spending a night next door at the Delta before WDW, and I was considering spending the evening at the Stage West.
Stage West Dinner Theatre in Mississauga is fantastic! The buffet is really great and the dessert bar is actually the best we've ever had.
My DB and SIL live in Mississauga and have seasons tickets so they're always going and always have good things to say about the performances and the meal.
They gave us a 2 day get a way pkg for the hotel and dinner show for Christmas a couple of years ago, and if you can I would recommend staying right on the premises as the rooms are really nice and after the show you can just head on up to your suite.
The pkg we got included a 1 night stay with dinner show and a bottle of wine for our dinner plus a really nice breakfast the following morning.
Ive been once as I too live in Mississauga, its really nice, the food is amazing. The show was great we saw. Its close to the airport But I dont remember the Delta being beside it, infact I think its a car dealership and a Mickey D's
Can't help you with the StageWest shows but if I remember correctly, the shows used to get good reviews and some very famous people have performed there.
The Delta Airport West is right there on Dixie Rd. Did it change names? Was it a Radisson or something before? We used to live in Mississauga at one time and have bought all our vehicles at the Dixie Auto Mall right by there.
Sammi has a good suggestion. Look into a theatre/rm pkg. I think it's also cheaper to stay there than the Delta.
Our stay at the Delta is free (using airmiles), does anyone know how far the Stage West is from the Delta? The Delta webpage says it's within walking distance.
Yes. My husband worked at Stage West for about 3 years. He started his new job on June 6th. The theatre is actually in Mississauga.
Anne of Green Gables is playing right now. I got to see it before hubby left. The Anne is a bit um... her voice makes you want to stick your fingers in your ears. I'm a big Anne fan and I really didn't like what they included and excluded in the show. But for me it was a free show. They haven't had anyone really famous in few years in one of their shows. My hubby did work for them before. He had a 4 year peroid in Brampton in between. In the last three years there hasn't been any famous actors. Just one of the script writers who likes to perform in his own shows . Though the buffett is always worth it to see the show! The airport is very close by too.
