Staff came to my room!

Hula came to my room, which I'm really hoping will win best guest room. Does anyone here know how they judge and if I need to keep my room open for longer or anything like that? I'd love some help.

I don't know how they judge, but as far as I can tell you have to get staff in your room so they can see it to judge it. They often don't stay around too long, but long enough to get a feel of the room and how people are enjoying it. The tough part is to get them to at least see your room! At least you have done that!

I am no expert, but I have won Best Guest and Best Game awards. Even after staff comes in, I still keep the room open the rest of the week...I wonder if they look and see how popular it stays over a few days. My best Guest room (Somewhere Over the Rainbow) hovered in the two mickey range and occasionally got up to three mickeys (when I made a concerted effort to invite people). My best Game room was very popular the weeks I had it open.
Also, after I win, I keep the room open so people can check it out.

BTW I don't think anybody knows how they judge. But I think they look for unique, clever, interesting things that they have not seen before. The sort of thing that makes you say "wow!". My room kept getting "Wows" this week, so I knew I had a good shot at winning.

Wow at least you had staff come in your room....I have never had staff in my room. I tried really hard when i had the maze....it even stayed in the three mickey spot for a few days......had a ton of wow's as you say...but never had the green people enter I guess that is kinda why I have been discouraged in the whole room thing. The pirate dock is more rewarding for me I guess Good luck though I'll look at your post again..I don't remember if you put the name of your room....but I'll keep an eye out..and try to pop in

I am not sure how you get staff in...obviously you try to get your room up on the popular list. This is the great mystery. I wonder if people on the staff's friend list mention it to them?
