I'm pretty upset about the $4 they're charging in December (starts the 16th, our check in day). And I wouldn't know about it if I didn't read it on the DIS.

We just got back from "Magic Mountain". I don't know if that's a national chain or not, so let me just say its a game room with extra stuff. Lazer Tag for 20 minutes was $6. To play on the playground (like a McDonalds play structure) was $5. I'm not sure if there was a time limit. I had a 12oz coke for $2.

I just made a little booklet of all the counter service places, menus and prices. They are higher than McDonalds, but the food is better, too.

All in all, I don't think Disney is that bad. DH used to run a race track (drag strip) and at the time he was getting quite a bit more for french fries, and admission too for that matter.

Not that its not ok to whine about prices. I plan to myself!

Have you been to Biergarten before ntsammy? We're going for the first time this trip. We've both done all of the great bierhauses in Munich (Hoffbrau, etc.)

Yup-- been to Biergarden AND the HofbrauHaus. Munich was back in the 60s though. You'll love the Biergarden. It'll bring back memories, but they don't have as many drunks there as in Germany and the stein wenches can't carry anywhere near as much beer!

I vaguely remember Hofbrauhaus...I know I arrived, I remember big steins, and I remember sort of coming to in the Munich train station with 5 big empty steins in my backpack. A perfect evening...

I probably won't relive that night at Epcot though, seeing as how I'll have the kids there with me.
