Can you make reservations in two different parks as long as they are after 2pm?

Sorry, thought you were talking about park reservations as opposed to Genie+LL or VQ.

Why would you want or need to? You need only one park reservation each day, and if you hop you don’t need a reservation for any of the later parks. And if you reserve one park and change your mind about starting there, you can change your reservation, as long as the desired park is available.

We will often do this for Slinky Dog. We may grab one in park 1 for first thing in the morning. If Slinky is available still for the evening we'll go ahead and grab it after we use our first selection. Then wait for the 2 hour rule to kick in and grab #3.

ETA: You'll only see availability in the park you are not in if the next available time is actually after 2:00. They used to allow you to grab times after 2:00 even if there were ones available earlier than that (in other words if you were park hopping you could get anything after 2:00 prior to those who were actually in that park). When this change was made it seemed to really help availability later in the day.

To clarify, you don't have to wait until after 2:00 to make them elsewhere, if has to do with availability. If the next available slot for a ride is after 2:00 then you are able to grab it prior to 2:00. In other words -- if it's 10:00a and I'm in Epcot and there is a SDD available for 6:00p I can go ahead and grab it.
