Stables at WDW

Hi everyone, I'm new! My Mom and I are going to WDW again (2nd time this year) and we would like to go look at the stables. I saw a video on youtube of the stables. Is there a tour or do you just wander around? And how do you get there? We used to have a lot of horses, but don't anymore and would like to just go and get a "fix". Thanks for any info!

You can wonder around the stables at Ft Wilderness campground.

there are 2 stables - one where the show horses (the ones who work at MK) - this is close to the settlement - where the petting zoo is - but you can't touch these horses.

the other is at the depost - where you can drive up. these are the horses you can ride. (too tame for an experience rider).

their area when they are not being ridden is behind FW kennel.
