We often cruise in January/February, and have usually found it's just a bit to cold to spend a lot of time in the water at Castaway Cay.
This January we'll be on the Fantasy, and I'm wondering if being a little farther south than the Bahamas helps with the temperature. I'd like to book a snorkeling excursion, but not sure if it would be too cold.
So is the Caribbean generally any warmer than the Bahamas in January? If you have any experience with snorkeling excursions in St. Thomas or Tortola I'd be interested in hearing about those as well.
Thanks in advance!
