We have a trip coming up in a couple months on the Fantasy. I wanted to do a snorkeling activity when we were in port at St. Thomas/St. John's but I have no idea which one would be the best to pick. These are the ones that look interesting to us:

- Captain Nautica's Snorkeling expedition
- Kayak, Hike, and Snorkel of Cas Cay

does anyone have any advice on them? I know that Cas Cay has less snorkeling than Nautica. Are these any good, or any recommendations for any of the other selections? Thanks in advance!

We're on the Fantasy next week and have a sail and snorkel trip booked on High Pockets (not through DCL). You may want to check TripAdvisor - they have reviews of several operators.

Pointing out that St. John's is really easy to do on your own. We took the cab that was waiting right outside the boat to the ferry dock. Lovely and quick boat ride over. Rented gear at a spot right near the dock, and an inexpensive cab ride to the National Park and Trunks Bay. It lives up to the pictures and even has an underwater snorkeling "nature trail" After a couple of hours, we took a cab to Cinnamon Bay. (why spend your day at one picture postcard beach, when you can have two) After we were done with the beach, we walked the trail thru the plantation ruins on the other side of the road and when we were done, we took a cab back to the dock, returned our gear, and instead of hoping on the boat that was there, had a lovely late lunch overlooking the bay, and got on the ferry an hour later. Note, "Cabs" on St. John are not a NYC cab, they are more a tourist bus pricing is a flat per person rate.
