ST Thomas Rental Car

Should we book the car before we go or is it pretty easy to rent once you get on the island? We were thinking of using Budget since it's so close.

I highly recommend booking the car beforehand. There are a limited number of cars available, and if you are in port with several other ships, you want to be sure of getting one. Upon disembarking move quickly to the rental office because it gets crowded fast and no one who works there is in a hurry.

Just in case you didn't already know, St Thomas drives on left side of the road. Some find it awkward if not used to it.
