I'm about to do my 1st reservation to my '' home resort ', akvillas
While I' m beside myself with joy I'm a bit nervous I want my 1st visit home to be a memorable one so I have a fwe questions
I'll rent a studio for 1st week of dec any specific section so that I have the most chances to see animals ( I know it's nerver sure ) and also a section not too far out on the resort ?
Also is the check in hours the same as any other resort ( as, pop ) ?
Do we check in at same counters as all customers ? or a special DVC counter ?
And if the room is not ready will they deliver my luggages as in the all stars or pop ???? or will I have to pick it up ( if I went in a park ) and bring it to the studio ?
And last I know you can borrow dvdS for the dvd palyers in rooms ( studio ) are those only animations dvds or all kind ? where do we go to borrow because I want at least one day of doing nothing but appreciate my nwe home , read , watch animals , and maybe a movie it took a fwe years in convincing dh of getting dvc I'll enjoy it at least awhole day each trip

Well, I can ony answer a couple. We just added on at AKV, but haven't stayed there yet. Usually you can start checking in at 7:00 am. But remember that the room may not be available until after 4:00 pm. You do check in at the same counter that people staying at the Lodge check in at. They hold your luggage and deliver it for you once you get your room. I'm not sure what selection they have of DVD's at AKV, but the selection at BCV was pretty limited. All were Disney movies (Duh?! ), with the majority being animation and family movies like Mary Poppins and Tuck Everlasting. There were some more adult (PG-13 type) movies (Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.), but very few. If you are really planning on spending time watching DVD's, you might want to bring a couple with you.
