St Pete beach, Clearwater beach or somewhere else

We're looking to do a beach vacation near Tampa at Thanksgiving. What is your favorite beach and why?

We want to stay closer to the Tampa area. We love Anna Maria Island but if the weather isn't perfect there isn't a lot to do.

We've stayed at St Pete Beach a few times, and absolutely loved it. There's lots of places in various price ranges to stay right on the beach. The beach is beautiful, and there's lots to do there.
