How do they celebrate st Patrick's day at DLP.
I know it's a long way off but got the email with the offers on today it's says the celebrate it just wondering how it wouldn't load the link.
It's the first day of our next trip.

Usually, its -

extra fireworks over the castle at park close -
Mickey and Minne in emerald green costumes for their meet n greets in the main park -
pre-parade with pipers, Irish Dancers, and Mickey and Minnie in a car -
Irish dancing shows on the stage near the castle, often with Disney characters (ie Chip n Dale)
and random slightly odd face characters roaming around Main St (I'm guessing they were supposed to be leprechauns but one of them had an orange face when we met them in 2011 so I have no idea really ).

Its a cute day .

The first day of our trip this year was St. Patricks Day. It had everything that Elaine mentioned above, plus face painting in Frontierland and a few other bits and bobs.

We didn't book our trip specifically for this festival, but it was great - and the parks weren't even that busy!
