What will YOU be doing, for those who celebrate?!;)

I don't really celebrate St. Patrick's Day :)

Have corned beef and cabbage with potatoes, and carrots and watch the "Quiet Man" with John Wayne...a great way to get into the Irish spirit!

We have a party every year! This year it's on Friday, March 19th only because it's tough juggling everyone's schedule. And being on the 19th, we'll probably include some zeppoles for our Italian friends who might be celebrating St. Joseph's Day. The rest will be the standard Irish-American fair--corned beef, cabbage, pototoes, carrots, Irish soda bread, green beer. I ended up making so much that I have to use our big clam boil pot!

I always have the traditional corned beef dinner and then for the girls I put food coloring in their milk to make it green, they love it!

We have the traditional Irish fare also - Corned Beef, Cabbage and potatoes. If St. Patricks fell on the weekend it would be - SAVANNAH GEORGIA here I come!!!!!

I'm Irish but I can't stand cornbeef or cabbage; I just stick to good old beer to celebrate. ;)

Drinking Guinness and eating birthday cake!

We'll be taking my daughter to see Christy Carlson Romano perform in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway! Totally forgot it was St. Patty's Day - now we have to fight the St. Patty's Day Parade traffic. Think we will be taking the train in.

I'll have the corned beef, cabbage and potatoes cooking in the crockpot so it will be ready when we get home.

I always eat corn beef and Thin Mints and wear green!!! I love St. Patrick's Day::yes:: :bounce:

SPD is big in my area. We start out with Mass, then to a flag-raising, then to breakfast, then to march in a small parade, then to lunch then to a party at my DSIL's house that night!!!!!

Well, we already were at a St Pat's charity corned beef dinner last week, an annual event for us. As for the day, Marie usually makes a corned beef and all. We used to have a pretty big deal at our house years back, a number of couples over, a real tradition, dinner and all, but seems that in recent years we have not.

I will be celebrating my birthday!:teeth:

And I bought a bunch of shamrock stickers to give to people I see at school who aren't wearing green:p

Working the evening shift and not really doing anything Irish. My great grandmother was Irish, but I'm mostly German.

I'm a nurse - I'll br wearing a silly shamrock vest - and I'm baking an Irish cream cake to take to work.
