St Patricks Day anyone?

So im super excited, we are going in March and we will be there for St Patricks day!! This will be our last trip until 2016 so we are going to enjoy it.
I know St Patricks day will be busy, im prepared for that, but for people who have been before, what happens? whats going on, anything special? anyone got pictures, stories to tell of pervious st paddy days? is there anything we should do and anything we should give a miss? It will just be me and my 5 year old on this trip, Daddy cant get time off work as he just got a new job.

i was there for St Patricks day 2011, it wasn't a weekend day so it wasn't too busy at all .

the main park had quite a few additions on St Patricks Day, including an Irish dance troupe who put on a show on the castle stage 2 or 3 times that day with Chip n Dale, Irish pipers, and a pre-parade with Mickey and Minnie in their Emerald green outfits, the Irish dancers, and the pipers. There were a few random characters out that day too, leprechauns (I think, it was difficult to tell lol).

all I can think of - busy busy busy. Maybe I expected more. Preparade was short and not much fun. I wanted more Irish dancing! It was beautiful! And the music! We didn't do any st.patrick day dressup character meets due to queues. I know there were some other events, but we did none.
It was our second visit and I think I did a TR.
