Orient Beach is great! I think your kids would love it there. I don't your children, but they may be bored by a tour of the island.

I highly recommend Soualiga Destinations. We did this speed boat/snorkeling tour and our boys loved it. Took us all around the island, stopping at multiple places to snorkel (even got to snorkel next to sea turtles). Stopped for an amazing lunch and also got to see the planes land at Maho. It was a great day!

I second KristMc's recommendation for Soualiga Destinations. We stayed on St. Martin for a week last April and spent a day with Capt Brett of Soualiga Destinations. There were 7 of us (including two 11 year olds and a 10 year old) and we all had an amazing time! We were on the Random Wind the year before and loved that experience as well, but I give Soualiga the edge because you get to see much more of the island.

I would third Soualiga Destinations! DH and I did a tour with them in Oct, and it was the best excursion we have ever been on! We are doing another DCL Eastern cruise this Oct and are a little bummed that we aren't stopping at St. Maarten so we could do it again.
