DD and DS earned Six flag tickets for donations to St Jude we live in IL-are the tickets good for any six flags?
Does the six flags in St Louis have the water park too? And where would be a safe, clean, cheap hotel between the free St Louis zoo and six flags be located? DH will be going too. Be will only be sleeping and showering in the room then off to the next location and will only need it one night. TIA D

There is a water park at the St Louis Six Flags, and I do belive six flags tickets are good for any six flags.

As for the hotel, the zoo and six flags are approx about a 40 min drive apart so you would have to decide which area you would like to stay and I would just do a priceline room for that. :hippie:

I'm not sure about the first question - if they are good at any Six Flags or not. Maybe there is a number on the ticket you can call?

Yes, 6 Flags in St. Louis does have the water park (Hurricane Harbor).

For hotels, I'd personally recommend looking in Fenton, MO. There are several pretty new hotels right off of Interstate 44 - easy on, easy off and Fenton is pretty nice. I saw that the Fairfield Inn in Fenton has a weekend rate of $59 with free breakfast. It is about 20 miles from St. Louis and 13 miles from Six Flags. You could also look at Sunset Hills, MO - there is a Holiday Inn Southwest Viking hotel that seems nice but I wouldn't stay at any of the other hotels in Sunset Hills. It is a nice area, but the hotels just seem run down to me. It is about 3 miles closer to the city (and 3 miles further from 6 Flags).

HTH and have fun!

If you have never been to the St. Louis area. I highly recommend touring the Arch. It is really cool. We have tickets to a Cubs/Cardinals game this summer and will probably take in the Arch again.

Additionally in Southern Illinois near St. Louis is a World Heritage Site, Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site - Illinois. We are going to check it out on this trip.

Re your original question: I would just call the Six Flags to find out about the tickets. They opened Great America last weekend for the season. I am sure someone in the office can answer your question.
