St John Trunk Bay Excursion Departure Time?

We are thinking about going on the Fantasy Eastern for our 15th anniversary in a few years. I was looking at the tours and would like to go on the Trunk Bay excursion but can't find when it leaves the ship. We were married on St Thomas so would like some time after the tour to go a few other places before we have to be back on the ship.

I found some info stating there are (or at least were) two excursions with one leaving Trunk Bay as the other comes. Not sure if that is still the case. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

St. John Trunk Bay Beach and Snorkel Tour: 39$ per child/67$ per adult. Departure time 8:15am. Tour is 4-4.5 hours.

We are within 88 days so not sure if there were other departure times that are now sold out.

I posted this thread a few years back. We are now up to the 15th anniversary I spoke of in the initial post and was wondering if DCL has two departure times for this tour, one in the morning and one in the afternoon? If so, any idea what time they leave?

Not sure of the timing but keep in mind that this tour has been known to get cancelled if the winds are high or the water rough; they usually don't let you know until the night before.

Thanks for the info - I knew the trip over can be rough but not to the degree that they cancel the excursion.

Still wondering when the tour is offered. Surprised no one has responded as I assume it's pretty popular.

We have been on this excursion on the Magic and the Fantasy. I believe there was only one departure time, but I have heard of others who did this on their own and got some more time there. Of course, there's a risk doing it on your own. At the end of the tour we took, they give you about 20-30 minutes to do some shopping on St. John if you'd like as well. We loved St. John so much we have vowed to come back on a separate trip. Trunk Bay is my favorite beach of any I've been to in the world. It's natural Beaty truly is unsurpassed.
