St Davids Day

Has any one been when it was St Davids Day celebration?

We have booked for next March for DD's birthday not realizing it was St Davids say celebration. We will only be in the park for the last day of it but I just wondered what it was like.

The St Davids Day Festival is great fun. There is a Welsh Craft fair and street market is good to walk around and there is lots of face painting too. I got a dragon done and DW had a daffodil.

Lots of choirs and performances on the fantasyland stage and in the Village there were some good Welsh Rock bands playing in the evenings at Billy Bobs.

Mickey and Minne dress up in there Welsh costumes and join the parade.

There are fireworks too, which were lovely all red, white and green over the castle.

During the time the festival was on, DW and I only did the rides during Extra Magic Hours as we were too busy attending the festival events to ride anything.
