We're looking to stay over just one night at St Augustine. We'd like to stay somewhere nice but as it's only for one night and we won't really use the facilities we don't want it to cost the each.

I'd love to sit outside on a little communal porch or veranda and people watch at night but if it's going to be a lot more expensive for a hotel with a little veranda then I can do without.

It's for two adults and a 16 year old in August.

Can anyone recommend anywhere please?

Thanks xxx

Try Comfort Inn & Suites 2367 SR. 16 St .Augustine Fl 32084

Days Inn 2560 SR .16

We have stayed in St Augustine 3 times. First time was at a B&B called At Journey's End - the owner was super friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The second time we stayed at the Hilton Historic Bayside - beautiful. And last time we got an amazing rate at Casa Monica, which was unbelievable.

we've stayed at the Best Western Spanish Quarters

inexpensive, but that was just a room or the night
2 minutes from Castillo San Marco and the historic disctrict

the parking lot is a bit tight though, lol, I scraped the rear bumper trying to get out of that very tiny space.

I'm going to have a look at those three!

I really want to sit out on the Veranda but when we're only staying for one night we will probably be out and end up paying a premium for something we won't use! Xx

I will definitely have a look and I'll let the OH know about the parking situation xx
