St. Augustine Flying J

People have talked about staying overnight at Flying J truck stops. I was wondering if you could overnight at the one in St. Augustine. I thought there was some law about no overnights (except in RV parks) in Florida. Just trying to map out our options for our December trip. Does anyone know?

I was pleased to see a Flying J so close also!

I see it has an RV dump so it must allow you to stay the night.

Just bumping to see if anyone has had any experience stopping overnight at this location.

I am not sure of the particular laws in Fl re. overnight stay, but an RV dump at a location does not imply it is okay to boondock. There are several rest stops on 95 that have dump stations, along with signs clearly stating that overnight parking is not allowed. I would contact the Flying J directly and ask them.

We use the flying J wherever we travel, I dont think you can beat them for convenience when traveling in an RV.
Some have seperate RV areas for parking that typically get used for sleeping while on the road. Although I wouldnt put out the slides and drop the jacks, my belief is that they are for the customer who needs to sleep 6 hours or so.

I sent an email to Flying J asking them if they allow overnight parking in St. Augustine. Please see below for the response:

Yes, we allow overnight parking at all of our Flying J Locations. Most also have available RV dump stations.

Thanks! I hadn't gotten around to calling (I'm trying to perfect the art of procrastination ). I just want to have all options mapped out, and this helps. If we end up in Florida late at night, I would rather just stop there than try to get a campsite or hope they'll let us in at FW. Thanks again!
