My dd9 lost her crucifix (last weekend) that was given to her for her 1st Holy Communion. We know it was in the house because my dd12 found the chain in the living room and we had not gone out of the house that day.
I have been looking all over the living room for the crucifix all week.

Today the girls are home from school, so I found the prayer online (since none of us could think of it). I said it, I had her say it and about 2 hours larter I happen to find it behind my door in my bedroom upstairs!!
I took a shower and just closed the door to my room (as I do everyday) when I came in to get dressed and there it was!!!
Thank you St. Anthony!!!

Thank you St Anthony, my Mother who is 68 has had me doing this all my life, and this prayer and St Anthony will help!

I use the prayer all the time and have my entire life. My mom taught me it when I was little and it works!

The St. Anthony prayer is very powerful. I feel like St. Anthony is my best friend.

The grammar school I went to (and my older kids as well) was called St. Anthony's. So of course we learned it in kindergarten -

St. Anthony, St. Anthony please come around
Something's lost and can't be found.

We have used to many times, and it never fails!!!!

We've found stuff in *strange* places, but we nearly always find it. I learned the same prayer as DisneyMomx7.

my oldest DS thinks St. Anthony must be his best friend. He'll come to me after losing something and say "I already said the prayer mom!". It almost always works!

It works for us too. My girls are always saying it as well as me. It even worked for my Southern Baptist assistant. She of course doesn't pray to Saints, but hey it worked anyways. She thought I was joking until I told her it would work and it did!

I've been saying that prayer since I was a kid. I still do!!

The one I learned is

"St. Tony St. Tony stick around something is lost and can't be found"

Thank you St. Anthony!

We say the same except not St..just Tony, Tony look around something's lost and must be found! It works every time!!

It really does work. I didn't even know there was a specific prayer, just always stopped and prayed generically to St. Anthony. I have always found everything I am looking for. The best is my DH sent off for a passport last March. He sent his original birth certificate. He realized in the middle of the summer it had not come back with the passport. We looked everywhere on our desk and in our files. Never thought to pray to St. Anthony. Anywasy, after procrastinating for several months, he finally called the passport office to ask them to search for it. I said a quick prayer to St. Anthony after he got off the phone. The next day, I was at my desk and it was the top piece of paper. (I had been through every piece of paper on that desk and cleaned it off and filed, etc.). Go figure!! The power of believing!
