I just changed our car rental. We had an intermediate through Enterprise for $339.13 for 13 days. I just went to Priceline and put in "my price" on a standard car and we got a standard car with Avis for $276.13 -- over $60 in savings. This has been a good week for us.

That's great news, Kathy! I am so happy it's been a good week!

When you use priceline, can you choose airport pick-up/drop off? My concern is we would get a an offsite rental.

I'm really happy Rosie. If you look at cars now, they are around $550 - $700 without discounts. Mark never thought Priceline would accept my bid, but they did. I think they are desperate to get cars off the lots.

Yes, it is Aadvantage, Hertz, Avis, Budget and Alamo I believe...all onsite.

Well, the money we saved on the car rental should have gone to Disney with us for more snacks or whatever there. But Mark and I went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner and then went to the Disney Store. Purchases were made:

For Mark, a new Grumpy shirt:

For me, a new Eeyore shirt (and I'll wear it to the Crystal Palace for our breakfast and let Cayley where my Tigger ears when she greets Tigger):

Then we went to K-Mart for shampoo, antacid tablets, shorts for Mark, etc. He got two pairs of jean shorts. I got two pair of shorts, one green and one white. They are relaxed fit which I like when it is super hot.

And then I got this t-shirt to wear on our Studio day:

Thanks; I couldn't resist the shirts...they were on sale and I lost some weight so needed a little smaller shirt.

I'm loving the new purchases. Those are fabulous. I never find cute shirts like that. And shorts are horrid for me to find. They don't make them for people with a huge booty and thighs

Love your purchases!!! The Grumpy shirt is the EXACT same Grumpy shirt I got for my Grumpy at the Disney Store on Thursday!!! Great minds think alike! I got Goofy the Goofy shirt that says "What time is the 3pm Parade?" and a Perry shirt.

That is sooo funny, we went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch on Thursday after we went to the Disney store, lol!!!!!

Wow, what a surprise twist in this trip! I would never have guessed you'd end up at OKW, but it sounds like a really nice resort. I've never been there, but the pictures of it look beautiful, and sort of like a good match for Marco Island.

Good move on switching rental cars and buying some fun trip shirts!

Love the savings going towards Disney stuff !!I haven't bought any new stuff this time cuz I still have new stuffI have picked up thru out the year on sale !! I tend to stick it away and forget about it till I am going thru my Disney drawer and then VOILA a new Tink ShirtI did buy new undies and No Marv I am not posting a pix !!!I got new jammies too but I am wearing them !!For Disney I have 3 sets now that really look like outfits so I can go get my morning coffee without getting dressed

One of the biggest susrprises of all of our vacations thus far! OKW was NEVER on the radar...we've never even visited it. But it looks really relaxing and pretty.

I love that we saved money on the rental and got to buy some new shirts for the parks.

Great purchases! It kills me that you can buy character themed shirts all over the place (including the Disney store) for nothing compared to what t-shirts cost at Disneyworld. I had to choose my clothing purchase at the parks very carefully for that reason. You definitely got some cute things!

I love those shirts!! The Eeyore one is my favorite! That is awesome that you got such a great price on the rental car from Priceline! Rental car prices have been outrageous lately & that's a great deal!
