I have a few gift cards from Kohl's that I need to use up

So exciting to have your flights booked. That always makes it seem real to me! I have been looking at October flights for awhile but haven't bitten yet

Replies coming up. Sorry I've been neglecting my PTR. I've been trying to keep up on everyone else's, plus I did 10 loads of laundry on Saturday for the trip next week and cleaned the house all day on Sunday (not sure why I did that because Andy won't clean it while we are gone, and Markie is coming home this weekend...sure, I leave town and he comes home to visit).

I'll try to do an update tonight (I was hoping I'd know what night we were going where for dinner with Nicki & Todd). If nothing else, I'll post the Easter decorations I put up.

Tracy, everything seems to be in order and done except the car rental for September. We're waiting to see if prices go WAY down as they are crazy right now.

Cynthia...five days, 4-1/2 sleeps (I'm only counting Friday night as a 1/2 sleep since we are leaving here at 3:30 a.m. for the airport.

Well, Mark is fighting a cold (and dozing on the chair) and I'm getting sleepy myself. So here is a quick update before I hit the sack (need my rest so I don't get sick too).

I can't believe we leave in five days. I've already posted the plans for the trip and that we'll have dinner with Nicki & Todd on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We're doing Grouper and Chips on Thursday night, Kelly's Fishouse on Friday night and Da Ma Ru on Saturday night. Nicki is picking me up between 8 and 9 a.m. on Friday for our day filled with, as she said, "I'm off and pln on going into a caffiene and laughter coma". Love you too, BFF.

So in between laundry and cleaning this weekend, I put some Easter decorations up and we also went back to the mall and I got a few more things (88 in Naples while we are there is scheduled). Here's a few photos (yes, Marv...more shopping ):

cute top! actually all the pieces are really cute, I love the disney Easter decorations. I almost picked some up last week, but, I decided I wanted to try and get into my attic and see what I still have up there. But, from the sound of it, my attic has been turned into a disaster since/before Gwendolyn and Joe.

I'm so excited for you that you will be here in the south in just 5 days it must seem funny for you to be packing sleeveless tops and shorts. You will NOT want to go back!

Cute stuff - the clothes and the spring/Easter decorations. I got a Mickey & Minnie Welcome Spring yard 'stick' thing at Walgreens a couple of days ago. I'll put it in some kind of display at school next week, after I have time to think about it after kitchen renovations and birthday party this weekend. Mickey and Minnie greeting me on my bulletin board during the last nine weeks will help ease the chaos and the burden of the mountains of paperwork it takes to close out a year.

Temperatures in the 80's - sounds good to me! We had some warm days, but we're back to 35 this morning. Hopefully the cold spell will be short-lived.

Here's to safe, happy travels to you guys this weekend!
