I now have in my hot little hands the confirmation for our two nights at the AKL. The gal that I work with who did this for us had to wait until yesterday because AKL is not her home resort (her home resort is SSR).

We have a reservation for two nights (September 23 and 24, then switching to CSR on Sunday, September 25) for a 1 bedroom villa -- Savanna View at the AKL Villas -- Kidani Village. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited that I can't stand it.

Yay!!! Great news about your roof and booking AKL! I can't wait to stay there either, it's so beautiful there!

When do you make your ADR's? I can't wait for March to be over so I can make mine!

Bob is home and hopefully still comfortable, the roof will not be a major expense and you have your AKL Villa reservation all set!! Things are looking great! Kathy, I am so glad that this week has been much kinder to you than last. The good news keeps rolling in for you. It couldn't be happening to a nicer person. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. It ended up being a dusting of snow -- thank goodness. Mark is on his way to the airport in about 45 minutes for Las Vegas and home late Tuesday night so I don't want any more snow.

Thank you. We actually looked at air fare and it was $451 for the two of us, and $800 with the rental car. We're going to wait a little while and see if it goes down in price (I hope it does). Also, getting the taxes done this weekend and am not sure what that will bring.

Yes, my dream is coming true. Now, I need my second dream to come true and that is that the airfares go WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY down for the end of March/beginning of April so I can come to Florida with Mark for his business trip and I could play with Nicki.

Markie's alma mater, Glenbard North, has just reached the STATE FINALS in the Team State Championship for wrestling. While Markie was in school we lost by two points in the finals for the championship his junior year to the school we defeated today in the semi's. In Markie's four years at the school, they took 3rd twice and second once. Although no longer there, we are still huge fans and supporters. And we have the BEST coach in the State. I will be glued to the screen (they are playing it on the high school site) that they can finally bring home that trophy. I am SO proud of these boys and they will get TRIPLE THE COOKIES if they win the championship.
