SSR Walking Distance

I just made a reservation at Congress Park...How far of a walk is it to the Springs area as I will have a year and half old with me...Wife and I don't care about walking at all but do want to see how much of a pain it will be with the little one...Thanks!

About a 5 min walk from Congress park to Springs. We have a small child and we use a stroller when we go to WDW. So distance is not an issue.

Absolutely bring a stroller, buy a cheap $12 fold up and take it everywhere with you, trust me!!!

Just so you are aware, you can request Congress Park, you can not make a reservation for it. You might get it and then again might not. Just did want you to be surprised when you check in.

One of the regulars on the DVC boards (WillCAD, I think) did the GPS measurement of SSR -- the walk from Congress Park (farthest building, I believe) to the High Rock Springs Pool was approximately 0.25 miles one way.

That was me. I measured a few random distances as shown on the map below. The yellow one is the distance from the CP quiet pool to the entrance to DD.

The others are by color and are pretty self explanatory. All measurements are in miles.

Hey, you need a new map. Gotta map those Grandstand areas next. And that pathway from GS to West Side. I imagine that's a bit of a hike.

Caskbill would you happen to know how far it is from the ESPN club at the Boardwalk, to the back entrance of epcot?
Also how about the Dance hall at the BW to the entrance of MGM, using the path.

Caskbill has done GPS measurements for many areas at WDW.

It looks like it is about 0.36 miles from BWV to International Gateway at Epcot.

Here is his BWV report.

He also reported a distance of 0.66 from BWV to MGM.
